Extended Warranty (EW) extends the basic product warranty on select models for a total of 3 years of warranty coverage from date of product purchase. The EW Program includes: Depot Support with professional services performed at a Sony Authorized Service Location (or on-site for selected models) during regular Sony business hours (Sony pays return shipping; Parts and labor are also included but subject to certain limitations); Remedial Repairs performed as needed should a malfunction occur, including the replacement of non-functioning parts (excludes wear & tear items) and Toll Free Technical Assistance Network (TAN) Phone Support provided Monday to Friday except Sony holidays, during standard business hours at 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern time.
