The ECM-957PRO is a MS (Mid-Side) stereo electret condenser microphone with switchable directional characteristics (90º or 120º) and greatly improved sensitivity. This microphone offers a unique adjustable capsule that allows for a choice of vertical or horizontal sound pick-up. The ECM-957PRO has a built-in MS decoder providing a conventional left and right stereo output. The Mid-Side stereo mic capsules offer natural sound pick up with superb clarity. The supplied mic cable includes a 5-pin XLR (on the mic end) with a stereo mini (1/8") connector on the output end. The ECM-957PRO operates on a single AA size battery with a battery life of approximately 200 hours.
