As part of our continuing commitment to you, Sony would like to inform you that we have recently discovered the following symptom with regard to its HDV Camcorder HVR-Z7U, HVR-Z7N, HVR-Z7P, HVR-S270U.
Symptom and cause
"OPERATION", "DRUM RUN" and "TAPE RUN" in "HOURS METER" menu may not count up correctly because of software error.

How to check the model name and serial number
The model name and serial number are located on the sticker attached to the bottom of the camcorder.


Through 3/31/10, Sony will provide a firmware update service at no charge to you to resolve this problem. Please contact below:
