XDCAM Helps Revolutionize the Latin Television Market

MegaTV (Spanish Broadcast) recently acquired XDCAM cameras and will be using the system on one of their first HD projects - a new vampire-themed miniseries entitled "Gabriel". The company will be putting together the first fully HD broadcast and production facility and will use XDCAM HD as their house format of choice.

MegaTV has achieved exceptional ratings with entertainment-based reality programming since its launch in 2006. "Gabriel" is the first originally scripted miniseries for MegaTV and Megafilms, the new film entertainment division of Spanish Broadcasting System.
