Two easy steps to HD

If you have put off moving up to HD because of cost, now you can make the transition in a two-step process that makes this system affordable and flexible. Here's how to use your current CCU to easily start transmitting an HD signal while you acquire the full system:

Step 1
Purchase the HXC-D70 HD camera head and use with existing CCU-D50 CCU. This gives you the option of either having higher quality SD imagery from HXC-D70 through CCU-D50, or getting HD video directly out of the HXC-D70 camera while controlling it through the CCU-D50 to control the cameras.

Step 2
Purchase the HXCU-D70 HD CCU to allow control and HD signals to pass through the multi-core cable to the CCU and then out to wherever you choose.

Now is the perfect time to make the jump to the revolutionary new Sony® HD camera system.
