Greg Boston Owner Waspnest Productions. Primarily a shooter and voice over talent Background & Job Experience: Greg spent 25 years in the semiconductor industry as an equipment technician. When digital still and video became viable, he employed both methods to document and capture random equipment failures. He began doing event video on a professional level about three years ago starting with a Canon XL-1. He is now a proud owner of an XDCAM HD camera - Sony's PDW-F350. Comments: I have had a love of photography since high school and my first 'real' camera was a Canon AE-1 SLR. I started shooting video with a full size VHS camcorder in the mid 80's. But it was the onset of digital imaging that really peaked my interest. I was exposed to XDCAM HD in April 2006 and instantly felt that it represented a quantum leap in the way we work with digital video. Having owned the F350 for over a year, I've become very knowledgeable about XDCAM technology and I hope to share that knowledge with others who are just now migrating to, or considering implementation of this workflow. Being one of the early adopters, I've given feedback to Sony on technical issues with the overall workflow and I'm happy to report that my concerns have been addressed through software and firmware updates. Did I mention how beautiful the images from this camera platform are? In a word. stunning!
