Mark Falstad Director/Cameraman Two time Emmy award winning Director, cameraman Mark Falstad took the XDCAM HD system to Alaska to shoot the legendary Iditarod race. Mark has over 30 years of documentary shooting, editing and directing experience. Adventure based stories are a specialty, often done under extreme conditions ranging from 45 below zero in Yellowstone to the tropical heat of Borneo. He's shot for CBS News Magazines and specials, ABC News, National Geographic Specials and at Dateline NBC, he was the first to use both the CineAlta 24P camera and XDCAM camera on assignment. In Alaska, Mark put the system through its paces in temperatures as low as minus 25 -- and that was in the daytime.
