Sony is pleased to announce the HXC100K & HSC300K trade-in rebate program that will allow you to dispose of your qualified Standard Def cameras while upgrading to the latest HD Multiformat camera technology. You can trade-in your old SD cameras and stay Green by sending them to Sony where we will dispose of them properly.This is a great opportunity for you to transition to HD with the new HXC100K or HSC300K Studio Series Cameras. Both cameras are powered by the latest 2/3-inch, full resolution 1920 x 1080 HD Powered HAD FX CCD sensors and incorporate our high-performance 14-bit A/D converter that enables images to be captures by the 2.2 million pixel CCD's. These cameras use our new Digital Triax system that improves transmission quality over greater distance and can utilize existing cabling infrastructure to help save costs. The new Studio Series cameras are designed for the new economics of HD, where affordability does not mean a compromise in quality.
If you purchase a HXC100K and HXCU100K or HSC300K and HSCU300K between the dates of October 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010, you can trade-in a qualified camera for a cash rebate. If you purchase a HXC100K and HXCU100K, you can trade-in a qualified camera and receive a $2,000 rebate, and if you purchase a HSC300K and HSCU300K, you can trade-in a qualified camera and receive a $3,000 rebate. To receive the mail-in rebate:
Purchase a HXC100K and HXCU100K or HSC300K and HSCU300K during the promotion period from a Sony Authorized Reseller or directly from Sony.
To receive the rebate by mail:
1. You must fill out online rebate claim form here.
2. You must send completed form, entire ORIGINAL UPC product code label(s) from the box(es) of the HXC100K and HXCU100K or HSC300K and HSCU300K, and copy(ies) of purchase invoice(s) from the Sony Authorized Reseller or directly from Sony to Sony Award Headquarters at the below address, postmarked no later than April 30, 2010.
3. You must return a qualified trade-in Camera to the below address along with the required paperwork to the address below:
