SONY HEADSET MICROPHONE SYSTEMS OFFER HANDS-FREE PERFORMANCE FOR PASTORS

For pastors, choir members and other members of a ministry requiring mobility and the freedom of hands-free operation, Sony's ECM-322BC and ECM-322BMP headset microphone systems are designed for comfort and clear sound pickup in house-of-worship and a range of live sound applications.

“These headset mics represent a completely new type of design,” said Paul Foschino, senior marketing manager for professional audio at Sony Electronics. “Lightweight, extremely comfortable and inconspicuous, these systems were created to provide ministers as well as A/V presenters, lecturers, and educators with state-of-the-art hands-free capability.”

SONY UNVEILS MORE THAN 10 NEW PROFESSIONAL DISPLAY PRODUCTS AT INFOCOMM

Highlights Include New LCD Projectors and a 50-inch Plasma Display

At the recent InfoComm trade show, Sony introduced more than 10 new professional display and presentation products. Each is designed for an array of commercial applications, with features that also make them suitable for use in houses of worship.

With ministries incorporating higher levels of video production elements into their services and their overall operations, their demands for projectors and displays that can accommodate these needs have also increased.

Sony's new LCD projector introductions are a combination of entry-level and compact units, and continue Sony's efforts to offer a high level of flexibility and many options. Two of the new models, the VPL-ES4 and VPL-EX4, are entry-level units that deliver advanced capabilities.

New Programs Help Prevent Unanticipated Repair Costs and Downtime

Ministries looking to safeguard their investment in new technology can take advantage of two new Sony service programs designed to help users of Sony's VPL series LCD projectors prevent unanticipated repair costs and reduce downtime.

Recently introduced by Sony's Professional Services group, the new programs include Extended Warranty (EW) and On-Time Support (OTS) plans.

“These new programs can allow customers to continue to receive the best possible service and support on their Sony projectors,” said Bill Cubellis, Sr. Manager, Sales, Marketing and Administration for Sony's Professional Services Group. “They're also available with different levels of options and terms, to offer additional value and peace of mind after the sale.”
