Our new Mobile Storage Unit enables you to easily offload content from your SxS PRO™ or SxS-1 Memory Cards onto a removable hard disk drive cartridge in a matter of minutes. Then connect it to your EX camcorder to review the clips you just offloaded or connect it to your PC via the super fast eSATA interface and start editing. Whatever your need, the Mobile Storage Unit helps accelerate your workflow in the field.
The SxS-1 Memory Card is Sony's new professional flash media for XDCAM EX™ camcorders and decks. Like its predecessor, the SxS PRO™ Memory Card, SxS-1 uses a PCI Express interface supporting transfer speeds of up to 800Mbps. It also is equipped with a media lifetime indicator that works in conjunction with the new XDCAM EX camcorder models including the PMW-EX1R, 350L and 350K. Current PMW-EX1, PMW-EX3 camcorders and PMW-EX30 deck require an update (available Spring 2010) to use SxS-1 Memory Cards.
