Basic Effects Channel Board for MKS-8800. This board adds one channel of Digital Effects to an MKS-8800 processor. Each processor can accommodate up to four MKS-8810M boards. A maximum of 8 DME channels using two MKS-8800 processors may be added to an MVS-8000 system. Standard DME features include size, position, rotation with perspective, recursive effects, mosaic, defocus/blur, posterization, border, dropshadow, crop and on-screen graphics & channel wireframes. Multiple channels may be combined to achieve advanced effects such as cubes, slabs and solids. Individual channel parameters can be assigned to either the main or up to 4 sub-timelines for maximum editing and playback flexibility. Global coordinates may be assigned to a sub-timeline that effectively provides independent global operation for each channel.
