The SNC-VM772R's Multi-tracking feature uses intelligent cropping to automatically 'chase' up to four objects independently in the scene, such as moving vehicles or people in a factory or parking garage. The camera streams an entire image of the scene with Full HD resolution for overview monitoring full-resolution image, together with separate VGA-cropped views of each moving object at the same time. It's a compelling alternative to conventional CCTV monitoring that requires multiple PTZ box cameras to track several objects simultaneously.

The SNC-VM772R utilizes Intelligent Cropping so that you may select portions of the image (or regions of interest - ROI) that you want to see in 4K - up to four areas simultaneously with a 4K-native resolution, while viewing the overall image in Full HD resolution.

Sony's Intelligent Coding uses H.264 dynamic and static region of interest coding techniques. This allows you to choose critical areas where resolution detail needs to be sharpest. In addition, dynamic region of interest automatically detects and tracks motion and applies lower compression to achieve clearer images.
