The NXL-IP55 IP Live Production Unit is a powerful Sony IT solution for HD live production designed to alleviate the cumbersome task of arranging several cables between two locations. For use in multi-camera live productions, the NXL-IP55 allows you to transmit up to four genlocked HD video streams (three downstream and one upstream, or two downstream and two upstream) with less than one field delay time, over a local area network (LAN). Along with video and audio signals, the NXL-IP55 transmits all essential live signals such as tally, GPIO, intercom, and even genlock signals through a single LAN cable. The NXL-IP55 achieves a never-seen-before IP live production system that provides far greater flexibility for professional live operations.
Used as a pair, allows you to configure a live production system over a LAN network
Provides for the upstream and downstream live IP transmission of HD video signals, audio signals, and various control signals
Offers an ultra low latency of within 17ms.
Devices can be genlock synchronized via the LAN network
Up to four video channels are available for transmission, with up to three in the same direction
Ten audio channels (five pairs) are available for transmission, with up to eight in the same direction
Eight GPIO channels, six tally channels, and one channel for a genlock synchronization signal are also available
